07/06/2009 - SCHEUERLE WINS NIGHT ONE OF QLD TITLE

Andrew Scheuerle is on a roll and after starting tonight's preliminary night for the 2009 Queensland Title with Quicktime, Scheuerle finished the night on a high taking out the 20 lap Feature Race ahead of Todd Wanless and Pete Thorley.

Saturday night's format saw three rounds of heats with the first two heats being seeded off time trials and the third heat being calculated from points.  Scheuerle finished fifth, fourth and second respectively.

Finishing second in his third heat provided enough points to qualify as highest points scorer and secured Scheuerle the pole position he has been waiting for and he didn't disappoint.  He went on to dominate the feature race with the Q25 Ausdeck Patios & Roofing Maxim showing good pace and Scheuerle happy with the overall result.

"I'm looking forward to tomorrow night and I'm thankful we had a great night tonight.  All I'm hoping is the rain stays away and we get some good racing in.  The car is unbelievable at the moment, we've got good speed.  The crew are doing an awesome job and I'm ready for Sunday night!"
