15/11/2009 - CRASH TAKES SCHEUERLE OUT OF TPCR RD 1

A disappointed Andrew Scheuerle drove home Sunday after being crashed out of the B Main at Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway, running second on his way to transfering into the A Main. Scheuerle drove a consistent race from 6th to second when racer Steve Caunt made a move and crashed Scheuerle out whilst flipping his own car down the straight. Ausdeck Racing drove back to the race shop to begin maintenance and repairs for this weekend's World Series Sprintcars Rd 1 at Brisbane International Speedway.

Scheuerle qualified 26th out of 58 cars only to miss the invert by one place making it difficult for the Queensland racer to qualify straight into the A Main event. A frustrating heat saw Scheuerle move forward one spot to take sixth giving him a starting position of 8th in the B Main.

The top four of the B Main went on to transfer in the night's A Main even but for Scheuerle and the Ausdeck Racing crew, it was time to pack up. The trip to Sydney had been cut short due to being crashed out of the B Main whilst racing.

Scheuerle has his sights set firmly on a World Series win this Saturday at Brisbane International Speedway. At his home track, Scheuerle will be one of the favourites along with Farr, Dumsney, Wanless and McFadden just to mention a few.
