21/11/2009 - 6TH FOR SCHEUERLE AT RD 1 PWWSS

In a night of flips, crashes and spectacular racing for the opening round of Performance Wholesale World Series Sprintcars; Scheuerle narrowly missed out on a top 5 finish behind Tatnell, Dumsney, Farrell, Anderson and Farr. Giving the race fans something to cheer about Tatnell and Dumsney went head to head in the last few laps where Tatnell came away as the victor in Rd 1. It's anyone's series yet!

Scheuerle is in form and ready for results. The night started well for the Queensland favourite timing in eighth quick. He then went on to move from the rear of his first heat, to finish fourth. The second heat gave Scheuerle more opportunity for points finishing third.

In a new Dash format, consisting of Gold, Silver & Bronze and the top 8 cars taking part in a time trial format. Scheuerle who was positioned 6th on points leading into the Bronze dash, completed his time trial and finished 7th, giving him his starting position for the A Main.

Working his way forward, Scheuerle was confident in the car and it's just the beginning for the Ausdeck Team. "Tonight was just the start really, the car was good and I'm happy with the result. We are there, but we're not right there so over these next few weeks, we will work on getting that extra speed so we can challenge for race wins. That's what it's about!" Scheuerle said.

Overall, the night was incident free and ended in a positive result for the team as they prepare to continue their World Series schedule. Next weekend, Ausdeck Racing will be at Charlton Raceway in Toowoomba for the second round of PWWSS.
