24/11/2009 - ANDREW SCHEUERLE GEARS UP FOR RD 2 PWWSS
Andrew Scheuerle is fired up for this Saturday night's racing at Toowoomba's Charlton Raceway, where he will go head to head with Australia's best drivers to hopefully finish with a podium result and move up in the points ladder for World Series Sprintcars 2009/2010.
Crew Chief Gleno has been preparing the car after Saturday night's racing and is once again ready to go for another night of success at the track. Scheuerle is currently 6th in points and is hoping to better that result after Saturday night.
"I'm hoping for a podium result here at Charlton. I enjoy racing at this track and last year at World Series, we placed third so I'm hoping we'll have another favourable outcome. Saturday night was good fun but we're hoping this Saturday night the car will be that step up again and I will be able to drive it harder and get the reuslts we're after." Shirls said.
The Queensland champion who is now based from Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast, still calls Toowoomba home and whilst he's won a few Qld Titles and plenty of Series and Championships at BIS, he still hasn't had a win on his 'home' track yet. Will Saturday night's World Series Round give him what he's looking for?
