03/01/2010 - AUSDECK RACING HEADS BACK TO QLD FOR 10K TO WIN AT BIS

The Ausdeck Racing Team are travelling back to Brisbane tomorrow to prepare for the 10k to win at Brisbane International Speedway. It's been a long week for the team however after making some critical changes, Scheuerle now believes he is firmly back in contention for some podiums. Scheuerle proved his point by racing from 12th to 7th in PWWSS at Premier Speedway on Friday night showing his normal style of smooth clean racing!

Scheuerle was confident after a complete rebuild on New Years Eve that a turnaround would come. After being slightly off the pace since the start of the season, he is now ready to finish Wednesday night with a podium.

"I've finally got a race car. The past few weeks we were struggling and we were ok but I could never challenge for a top finish. Then we got to Speedweek and at Avalon and we made major changes to the race car and it didn't respond and I was getting frustrated.  I couldn't feel the car underneath me and then Friday night came at Premier after we did the rebuild and I can honestly say it was a dream to drive. I now have a race car that I'm confident in and it felt good and I'm looking forward to racing at my home track this week."

Andrew would like to thank Croft Construction for coming on board with the Ausdeck Team for Speedweek. "Croft Construction are based out of South Australia and are heavily involved with Speedway in Australia and we thank you for your support for Speedweek but also across Australia. Your involvement makes it possible for teams like us to travel racing and lift the profile of Sprintcar racing Nationally."

One can only imagine what Wednesday night's racing will bring with the best of the best heading to Queensland.  Friday, Saturday & Sunday night offer fans a chance to see some of the world's best racing at BIS and Toowoomba's Charlton Raceway.  Drivers like Donny Schatz and other American's nominated to race at BIS make it one of the toughest fields yet however Andrew is ready for the challenge. In 2007, Scheuerle stood on the podium with Schatz and Pittman after starting off the front row of the 10k to win race.

Ausdeck racing will then travel interstate to TPCR for PWWSS and then onto Victoria for the Classic Weekend. Keep watching www.ausdeckracing.com for updated reports and details.
