17/04/2009 - SCHEUERLE LOOKING TO STRENGTHEN SERIES LEAD
Andrew Scheuerle has regained the lead in the fight to win the Comp Cams Series for 2009. After previously winning the Series two years in a row, Scheuerle narrowly missed out last year to Cameron Gessner after missing a double points round while racing in The Classic. Ausdeck Racing has a firm lead in the Sprintcars Queensland Championship along with only slightly missing out on leading the Team Owners points for the Comp Cams Series as well at this stage. A result Scheuerle is determined to change this weekend.
Ausdeck Racing is looking forward to the coming months of racing as the season winds down to a close in June with the Queensland Title being held at Maryborough. Scheuerle is determined to take this out for the third time in his career as well. "For sure, I'd love to have Q1 back, Pete did an awesome job last year and we finished second so we will see what we can do this year. It'd be great to have it back for the team but there are plenty of other worthy contenders out there so it will be tough no doubt." He mentioned.
Keep an eye out for the Ausdeck Patios & Roofing Q25 Sprintcar of Andrew Scheuerle on Saturday night at Brisbane International Speedway for Round 10 of the Comp Cams Series. See the ausdeckracing.com.au homepage for the latest points results and latest inside team news!
Ausdeck Racing would like to thank all of their sponsors for their committment and support throughout the 2008/2009 racing season.
