05/05/2009 - SERIES FIRMLY IN SCHEUERLE'S SIGHTS

Ausdeck Racing's Andrew Scheuerle has both the Sprintcars Queensland Championship and the Comp Cams Series points in his favour.  Currently sitting first in both Championships, Scheuerle looks set to take out both for the third time in his career.  As the Queensland Title looms and the final two rounds of the Comp Cams Series, Scheuerle will be looking for favourable results as he continues his journey to bring home the Championships for the team at Ausdeck Racing.

It's been a drama filled season so far for Ausdeck Racing but Scheuerle has consistently placed in the top five allowing him to keep his lead in both Queensland Championship events.  With only two rounds left of the Comp Cams Series, Scheuerle is hoping at least one of these rounds will produce the win he is searching for.

"There's a lot to be said for consistency!" the Queensland driver says, after most of the Championships and Series he has won over the past few years have been with little records of A Main wins and although the Queenslander would love to take a few feature wins, it's the overall series that he wants for his team owner, Stewart Craig.

"I want to be able to take the Championships for Ausdeck Racing.  We have such a great team and it would just be awesome to be able to add them to the team results so far. I'm just thankful for the opportunity to race and I love what I do and this is my way of thanking the team really.  I guess, as a driver, when you are contending a Series, the ultimate goal is to win the overall Championship so we'll see how the next two rounds go and the Queensland Title for Club Championship and see what points lead we can pull over the next few weeks.  Stay tuned!" Scheuerle said.

The Ausdeck Patios & Roofing Q25 of Andrew Scheuerle will be at Brisbane International Speedway this Saturday night the 9th May 2009 for Round 11 of the Comp Cams Series.
