11/05/2009 - ANOTHER PODIUM FOR SCHEUERLE AT COMP CAMS RD 11
Andrew Scheuerle finished with another podium to add to his collection on Saturday night and although still without a win this season, Scheuerle looks set to take home the Comp Cams Series and the Queensland Championship for the third time in just four short years.
The Team had been working hard during the week making some changes to the Q25 Maxim of Scheuerle after the previous few race meetings had not provided the smoothness in the car Scheuerle was looking for. "The car just felt unsettled for the past few race meetings and I couldn't really work out why. We were still getting on the podium but it just wasn't where it needed to be, we were still off the pace slightly so we did some changes during the week and it definitely made a difference that's for sure." Scheuerle said after the event.
A second place scored enough points for Ausdeck Racing to stay comfortably in the lead of the Comp Cams Series which Scheuerle is eager to win this year. One round remains on the 30th May at Brisbane International Speedway where Scheuerle only has to start the final feature race and he has won the Series.
This weekend sees the East Coast Pipelines $5000 to win race which doesn't result in any points for either series so Scheuerle is determined to get in there and give it all he's got. The Team are hungry for a win and with Championships so close, Scheuerle is determined to finish the season on a high.
Ausdeck Racing would like to sincerely thank all of their sponsors who support the Team every week.
